Influenster box product review: Braun No touch + forehead thermometer

How exciting! Yesterday's mail brought me a box from Influenster!

This box contained a free Braun no touch + forehead thermometer for me to try out and review!

I have never owned anything but a basic mouth thermometer before. So I was pretty excited to recieve this Braun forehead thermometer in my Influenster box! Right away you could see that this looked like a quality thermometer. I unboxed and opened everything up and it was a pretty simple to open package, I had to use scissors on some tape, but other then that this was not one of those packages you have to fight to get open. The contents of the package were the thermometer, a little cap to keep it clean and some batteries. As well as the instruction manual.

The thermometer was really self explanitory to figure out. Very simple. You just take take off the back, like a remote control, put in some standard AA batteries, replace the backing and you're ready to go! There's a protective sticker on the front screen that needs removed, and it comes off without a hitch, no sticky stuff. It's one of those clings.

To use the Braun thermometer all you have to do is remove the protective cap, push the power button on the bottom and watch the screen light up with three little lines. It's ready! There's even a diagram right on it that shows you where to put the device on the forehead. Right in the middle. You then push the blue button and it tells you to put the thermometer forward. If it cannot read it will turn red and tell you error. If that happens, push the blue button and try again. It only takes a few seconds to get an accurate reading!!! It's really easy to hold and about the size of a Wii remote control.

Here is a You Tube video with the thermometer in use so you can see for yourself just how easy it is to use! This thermometer causes no fuss for a toddler, he even thought it was kind of fun! You could use this while they were eating, sleeping, anything!

Do I recommend this Braun forehead thermometer? YES! I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner! So much easier, and not to mention cleaner, than a traditional oral or rectal thermometer! You can buy this from Amazon.com and Drugstore.com!
